Zima is an emerging DJ and producer from Basel, Switzerland. Inspired by the sounds of Avicii, Martin Garrix, and Kygo, Zima seeks to create music that will uplift people around the world. The talented artist takes the idea of quality over quantity when releasing music and once he appears on the new music feed you know you are in for a treat. He made his debut in 2019 with ‘Fly With Me’, later releasing the brilliant ‘Our Time’ later that year. 2020 then saw him treat us to ‘Memories’ and we have been waiting for his next one ever since. Now breaking his silence after nearly 10 months of hard work in the studio, Zima finally kickstarts his 2021 with the amazing new single ‘I Gotta Feeling’ featuring Hussain Shah.
With this single, Zima takes big inspiration from Avicii and his country-dance style. The single kicks off with an acoustic guitar that then is joined by the wonderful vocals of Hussain Shah. As the single progresses, Zima introduces more and more electronic elements, building towards the drop in the process. Filling us with euphoria, the drop hits and it’s a brilliant dose of uplifting sounds, perfectly complimenting the breakdown and build-up that came before it. Zima truly knocks it out of the park with this one, showcasing yet another perfect production.
