In the US, ARC Music Festival, North Coast Music Festival, Experts Only Festival, Breakaway Philadelphia, Breakaway Carolina, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, and CRSSD Festival bring several major festival weekends to different cities throughout the month. Across Europe, BEONIX adds another international stop to the September schedule, while Asia hosts Ultra Japan in Tokyo. Lost Lands

Dates: September 18–20, 2026
Location: Legend Valley, Thornville, Ohio, USA

Lost Lands takes over Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, from September 18–20, 2026, with another huge weekend focused on dubstep, bass music, drum & bass, and heavier electronic sounds. Excision leads the lineup with a two-hour set on Friday, followed by an Excision Detox set and Excision B2B Space Laces on Sunday. ARC Music Festival brings four days of house and techno to Union Park in Chicago from September 4–7, 2026, taking place across Labor Day weekend. Breakaway Philadelphia heads to the Festival Grounds at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, from September 11–12, 2026, for two days of electronic music just outside Philadelphia. North Coast Music Festival

Dates: September 4–6, 2026
Location: SeatGeek Stadium, Bridgeview, Illinois, USA

North Coast Music Festival celebrates its 16th year at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, from September 4–6, 2026, with three days of electronic music over Labor Day weekend. The lineup includes FISHER, ILLENIUM B2B SLANDER, Porter Robinson (DJ Set), GRiZ, Gryffin, Dabin, Ganja White Night, Crankdat, Wooli, Sammy Virji, BUNT., Holy Priest, and Levity B2B Tape B. Experts Only Festival

Dates: September 19–20, 2026
Location: Randall’s Island Park, New York City, New York, USA

Experts Only Festival takes over Randall’s Island Park in New York City from September 19–20, 2026, for the second edition of John Summit’s two-day festival. Following its sold-out debut in 2025, the festival comes back with John Summit curating the lineup and performing across the weekend, including SUBJOHNICS, his B2B set with Subtronics. Nocturnal Wonderland

Dates: September 19–20, 2026
Location: Glen Helen Regional Park, San Bernardino, California, USA

Nocturnal Wonderland brings two days of music, camping, and art to Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, California, from September 19–20, 2026. Saturday features Green Velvet, James Hype, Deorro, Malaa, Partiboi69, Sudden Death, Infekt B2B Virtual Riot, Basstripper, SIPPY, Steve Lawler, Steve Loria, Kompany B2B Samplifire, and KitaMami B2B Tony H, alongside a wide range of house and bass artists. Sunday continues with ILLENIUM, Seven Lions, Said The Sky with a sunset set, SIDEPIECE, TroyBoi, Walker & Royce, R3HAB, Eliminate, Barely Alive, CHYL, Hedex, Friction, and Teddy Pain, T-Pain’s bass set. The weekend also includes performances from Dombresky, Donald Glaude B2B Thee-O, Layz, Shay De Castro, Stanton Warriors, Tinlicker, and Tankdubz, covering house, dubstep, drum & bass, melodic bass, and techno across the two days. Open to attendees aged 18 and over, Nocturnal Wonderland continues its long-running Southern California festival tradition during September 2026.

Ultra Japan

Dates: September 19–20, 2026
Location: Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park, Tokyo, Japan

Ultra Japan celebrates its 11th edition at Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park from September 19–20, 2026, bringing another two-day edition of the festival to Tokyo. The Phase 2 lineup includes Afrojack B2B R3HAB, Alesso, Alan Walker, Peggy Gou, Sara Landry, The Martinez Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, WORSHIP, Yousuke Yukimatsu, and Zedd B2B Knock2. The festival also features HÅLO, Joris Voorn, Lilly Palmer, Maddix, and TRYM, with performances spread across the Ultra Main Stage, RESISTANCE, and Gou Talk stages. The 2026 edition brings together major EDM names with house, techno, and drum & bass artists, while several B2B sets give this year’s lineup some combinations not usually seen at other Ultra events. With another lineup phase still to be announced, Ultra Japan is one of the biggest electronic music festivals taking place in Asia during September 2026.

WAKAAN Music Festival

Dates: September 30–October 3, 2026
Location: Mulberry Mountain, Ozark National Forest, Arkansas, USA

WAKAAN Music Festival returns to Mulberry Mountain in the Ozark National Forest from September 30 to October 3, 2026, bringing back one of North America’s most community-driven festival experiences. Founded and curated by Liquid Stranger, WAKAAN caps attendance at 10,000 to preserve the intimacy, sound quality, and community focus that define it. Set across 400 acres of natural terrain with campgrounds, cabins, and wooded trails, the festival runs continuously across three days and nights, with stages shifting from daytime showcases into late-night explorations as the weekend progresses.

Beyond the music, WAKAAN places strong emphasis on art installations, immersive environments, and community-driven activations, with returning fan-favourite experiences and new additions expanding the festival’s creative landscape for 2026. Known as the WAKAAN Family, its attendee community has become central to the festival’s identity and culture year after year. Full lineup and programming details are still to be announced in the coming weeks, but WAKAAN Music Festival closes out the September and early October festival stretch as one of the most distinctive underground bass music gatherings in North America.

Yahn Dawn Festival

Dates: September 18–20, 2026
Location: Meadow Creek, Buena Vista, Colorado, USA

Yahn Dawn returns for its second annual edition at Meadow Creek, nestled in the Collegiate Peaks of Buena Vista, Colorado, from September 18–20, with an early arrival option on Thursday September 17 for pass holders. Curated by Pretty Lights, the festival expands to three nights for 2026 and introduces A Trip Thru Time, a weekend-long immersive concept inspired by his new album A Trip Thru Time Fantastic. The experience traces the interconnected sounds and album eras of the Pretty Lights universe chronologically across three nights of live band headlining exhibitions, beginning with an intimate opening ceremony on Thursday alongside founding member Michal Menert.

Friday is led by LP Giobbi with a special Dead House set blending Grateful Dead classics with house, alongside Mikey Thunder, Maddy O’Neal’s MADHAUS, Midicinal, Faceplant, TheBusiness., and R!AHT. Saturday goes deeper into low-end territory with Emancipator bringing his full ensemble, Thought Process on liquid drum and bass, and underground bass sets from Pheel, WeSelects, Shooka, Underlux, Parrott, and Dark City Agent. Sunday closes the weekend with Gramatik, RJD2, and Saturna, alongside Yahn Dawn debuts from Homemade Spaceship, TF Marz, Mithridates, Mondokoosh, Pants, and Hyperspace Sky. With an expanded curation of wellness programming, live art installations, and experiential elements rooted in connection to nature, Yahn Dawn is one of September 2026’s most distinctive and community-focused festival weekends.

BEONIX Festival

Dates: September 25–27, 2026
Location: ETKO, Limassol, Cyprus

BEONIX Festival takes place at ETKO in Limassol, Cyprus, from September 25–27, 2026, with three days focused on house, techno, and melodic electronic music. The 2026 lineup includes Adam Beyer, Argy, Benny Benassi, CamelPhat, Bedouin, Jan Blomqvist (Live), Monolink (Live), MRAK, Pan-Pot, Patrick Mason, Röyksopp (DJ Set), and Wade. Across the rest of the lineup, Franky Wah, OXIA, Raxon, Serge Devant, Spartaque, Plastik Funk, Omiki, Adiel, Artche, AWEN (Hybrid), Claxy (Hybrid), Estella Boersma, and Nikolina are also set to perform. Artists will play across four stages throughout the weekend, with Friday featuring Adam Beyer, Benny Benassi, Röyksopp, Jan Blomqvist, MRAK, and Pan-Pot, followed by Bedouin, Monolink, and Patrick Mason on Saturday, and Argy, CamelPhat, and Wade on Sunday. With more than 50 artists scheduled across the three days, BEONIX Festival adds one of Cyprus’ largest electronic music events to the calendar during September 2026.

CRSSD Festival

Dates: September 26–27, 2026
Location: Waterfront Park, San Diego, California, USA

CRSSD Festival heads back to Waterfront Park in San Diego from September 26–27, 2026, for its Fall edition with two days of house, techno, live electronic music, and club-focused sets. The lineup is led by Chris Lake B2B Disclosure (DJ Set) and Mochakk, alongside KETTAMA, Layton Giordani, Prospa, Sonny Fodera, Rossi. B2B Carlita, ChaseWest, Skepta Más Tiempo, 999999999, I Hate Models, Marlon Hoffstadt, Mathame, VTSS, and Groove Armada (DJ Set). The weekend also features Big Wild, DRAMA, Sébastien Tellier, AYYBO, Balu Brigada, Notion, salute, Ben UFO, Helena Hauff, KAS:ST, ARODES, MPH, GENESI, Sam Alfred, Torren Foot, and HorsegiirL. Artists are split across CRSSD’s three main areas, Ocean View, The Palms, and City Steps, each covering different sides of the festival’s house, techno, and live electronic lineup. The event is 21+, with gates opening at 12 PM on both days, making the Fall edition another major electronic music weekend in San Diego during September 2026.
