New EDM Friday: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, Blasterjaxx, Brooks, Nicky Romero, & More!

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, Brennan Heart – Christmas Time
2020 has been a very disappointing year in many aspects due to the pandemic but that isn’t stopping these artists from lifting the spirits as we head closer to Christmas. A joyous time across the globe, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, and Brennan Heart have come together to bring us an uplifting progressive track that fits this time of year perfectly. With the talent involved, it’s no surprise the final product is this good.

Nicky Romero – Nights With You (Festival Mix)
‘Nights For You’ kicked off a chapter in the ever-growing career of Nicky Romero as it would be his first single after signing with Universal Music. With the original being in the pop-dance genre, fans of the Dutchman were clamoring for him to put his signature club sound to the single and now they’ve got their wish. Nicky turns this radio jam into a mainstage killer by incorporating signature uplifting tones and powerful synths.

EMOCA & WakQ – Between The Lights [EDMHouseNetwork Exclusive Release]
For this week’s track, we bring in Morrocan progressive house producer EMOCA and new-comer WAKQ with a beautiful track ‘Between The Lights’. With this record, we really feel as though we have something of the highest quality. The artists have really brought their talents to the table with this one. The female vocal is insanely catchy in both breakdowns and is perfectly complemented by the leads in the drop. This is one of those progressive house records that has an incredible amount of energy built all the way through and even features a beautiful guitar in the middle of the drop.

Blasterjaxx, Zafrir – Zurna
A gathering of two worlds: Zafrir and Blasterjaxx team up to bring you the highly energetic ‘Zurna’. While Zafrir is known for his rare fusion of sounds, rhythm, beats, voices and colors across his productions, Blasterjaxx challenges the EDM-scene with some loud good old big room. The blend of these elements resulted in a unique track that fits in perfectly into any festival related playlists or DJ sets.

Illenium – Paper Thins (Brooks Remix)
Throughout his career, Brooks has shown to be a master remixer, remixing tracks for artists such as Martin Garrix, Kanye West, Zayn, and Illenium. Each time he nails it perfectly, and his latest remix is exactly that once again. This time he takes on ‘Paper Thins’ by Illenium. Usually he turns these types of tracks into a bouncy future house anthem, but for this remix he showcases a fresh new mid-tempo style that demands attentions right from the start!

Chris Lake, Armand Van Helden – The Answer
A remarkable four-song collaboration from Chris Lake and Armand Van Helden will be released on December 11. Today, the legendary producers shared the lead single and title track, ‘The Answer’ ft. Arthur Baker and Victor Simonelli. The anthemic song sets the tone for an exhilarating EP that, amid its irresistible grooves, reminds us to ground our actions in love. ‘The Answer’ samples ‘Why Can’t We See’ by Blind Truth ft. Tata and Toney, which was written and produced by pioneering producers Arthur Baker and Victor Simonelli – a soulful 1991 plea for unity that pulses with renewed relevancy.
