New EDM Friday: Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto & More!
Hardwell – Broken Mirror / Into The Unknown
Returning to the stage at Ultra Music Festival 2022, Hardwell immediately follows it up 5 days later with the release of both ‘Broken Mirror’ and ‘Into The Unknown’ from his upcoming album ‘Rebels Never Die’. Used as the intro for his set, ‘Broken Mirror’ is a 2-minute monologue explaining how Hardwell feels about his old style and the reason for his change. Then we get down to business with ‘Into The Unknown’, a banging future rave single with techno and big room influences. This anthem showcases that new sound that Hardwell debuted during his set and we can’t wait for more.
Martin Garrix, Mesto – Limitless
With their last original collaboration already stemming from 2016, it was about time Martin Garrix and Mesto got back into the studio together to create a new track. Taking us back in time, ‘Limitless’ has a nostalgic feel to it, while still sounding fresh. Premiered during his live shows over the last weekends, ‘Limitless’ had the crowd going crazy accompanied by an insane visual spectacle.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & Vini Vici & MATTN – Cafe Del Mar
Delivering our weekly dose of psytrance goodness, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Vini Vici, and MATTN all link up to bring us their 2022 take on the dance classic ‘Cafe Del Mar’. Combining a high tempo, driving basslines, and powerful main leads with the iconic trance melody results in a massive tune that is sure to dominate the festival season.
Cherub – Doses & Mimosas (Tiësto Remix)
Back once again on remix duty, Tiësto once again shows off his production prowess by putting his touches on ‘Doses & Mimosas’ by Cherub. Straying away from his usual mainstage festival sound, the Dutch icon uses elegant synths and a chill tone to turn this single from a pop hit into a deep house smash. An expertly created remix, it’s almost as if it’s an original as it sounds so perfect.
Honorable mentions:
Acraze – Do It To It (Sub Focus Remix)
Alok, Bastille – Run Into Trouble
Blasterjaxx, Prezioso, LIZOT & Shibui – Hurricane

Daft Punk Lives On: Guy-Man Rumored to Go Solo as Bangalter Returns to the Decks
After years of silence, both halves of Daft Punk are finally making noise again.
Just weeks after Thomas Bangalter surprised fans with his first DJ set in 16 years alongside Fred again.. in Paris, reports have surfaced that Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo is working on his first solo album. French music executive Emmanuel de Buretel, founder of Because Music, revealed in a recent interview that “Guy-Man fait son album” — “Guy-Man is making his album.”

From Robots to Reinvention
When Daft Punk announced their official split in 2021, it closed one of the most influential chapters in electronic music history. Since then, Bangalter has re-emerged through art-driven solo projects like Mythologies and CHIROPTERA — and now, a long-awaited return to live DJing.
Meanwhile, Guy-Manuel has stayed largely off the radar. The recent comments from de Buretel mark the first credible sign that the quieter half of Daft Punk may finally be stepping into the spotlight. If true, this would be his first major solo release since the duo’s breakup.
What We Know (and What We Don’t)
-
Confirmed source: The quote originates from de Buretel’s appearance on France Inter, reported by We Rave You on November 2, 2025.
-
No official details: There’s still no word on collaborators, tracklist, or release timeline.
-
Bangalter’s momentum: His recent Paris DJ set, captured at the Centre Pompidou, confirms that both members are creatively active again.
In short: both robots are moving, just not in sync this time.
Why This Matters
Guy-Manuel’s production style helped define Daft Punk’s signature French-touch sound — from the raw funk of Homework to the glossy euphoria of Discovery and the analog warmth of Random Access Memories. A solo record could finally show what his sound looks like when it stands completely on its own.
Will it be disco-driven and nostalgic, or something darker and more experimental? Either way, fans have waited over a decade to find out.
The Next Chapter
Between Thomas Bangalter’s surprise DJ comeback and Guy-Manuel’s rumored solo project, 2025 might finally be the year Daft Punk’s legacy continues moving forward.
One behind the decks. One in the studio.
Both back in motion — just not together… yet.

RAMI & Loudr Ignite The Dancefloor With Collaboration ‘Black Moon’
RAMI and Loudr merge Afro house’s primal pulse with driving melodic techno on their magnetic new collaboration, “Black Moon,” out now on Renaissance.
When darkness meets rhythm, something magnetic happens, and RAMI and Loudr capture that exact energy in their latest release, “Black Moon”, out now via Renaissance. The track stands as a testament to the duo’s shared vision of merging Afro house’s primal pulse with the driving momentum of melodic house and techno.
Before ever stepping into the studio together, RAMI and Loudr were already mutual admirers of each other’s sound. That creative respect set the foundation for “Black Moon” — a collaboration that feels as organic as it is powerful
“The night inspired this track,” the duo shared. “When we made this with the bass line and kick, we immediately knew it was something dark. Before Enea and I met, we were already supportive of each other’s music, so we decided to collaborate and create something different. We wanted to have a mixture of both of our sounds that are Afro house and melodic house techno, and I think we did a good job integrating both, making this a peak weapon to draw our listeners into its pulsating, otherworldly flow.”

From the very first kick, “Black Moon” pulls listeners into a hypnotic sonic orbit. A deep, rolling bassline forms the backbone, while shimmering synths and textured percussions illuminate the edges like faint lunar light. The production is sleek and cinematic! Indeed, a masterful balance between groove and mystery, perfectly aligning with Renaissance’s signature sound palette.
In a landscape where melodic and Afro influences continue to converge, RAMI and Loudr carve out something that feels both familiar and fiercely original. Their chemistry radiates through every beat, which proves that when two creative forces collide under the right alignment, the result can be truly stellar.
“Black Moon” by RAMI & Loudr is out now on Renaissance (@renaissance.dj), a label renowned for pushing the boundaries of underground sound. Stream it today and let its dark allure guide you through the rhythm of the night.
