There is no more loved up and intimate party than Life and Death and Innervisions’s collaborative Rakastella event. As it swiftly approaches, the final lineup can now be revealed with the latest additions DJ Koze and Honey Dijon joining in next to some secret and unexpected b2b sets that will be truly mesmerising. Dixon is also bringing his unique TRANSMODERNA Virtual Reality Installation that brings a different artistic perspective, and all on top of headliners Âme, Anfisa Letyago, Ash Lauryn, Avalon Emerson, Ben UFO, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Jayda G, DJ Harvey, DJ Holographic, Jimi Jules, DJ Minx, DJ Tennis and many more exclusives.
This year, Dixon’s Transmoderna concept presents an AI ecosystem complete with LEDs, lasers, VR, holograms and, of course, music, as well as digital artworks from Dixon himself plus a range of others. It is an all new experience exclusively showcased at Rakastella. As well as this, there will be some surprise back to back sets that will offer different sounds and unexpected thrills, plus latest additions DJ Koze – the Pampa boss who is a real curveball selector full of charm – and Honey Dijon, the legendary Chicago original who always brings the knowledge.
This comes on top of the previously announced names who will play across multiple stages, all of which will have their own unique identity and special production. They include a back to back between Âme & Dixon, long-awaited back-to-back Miami debut from Eris Drew and Octo Octa, magical sounds from Innervision artist Jimi Jules as well as venerated UK selector UK’s Ben UFO, Atlanta-based house heroine Ash Lauryn, Detroit’s revered DJ Holographic, Detroit’s “First Lady of Wax” aka DJ Minx, electronic innovator Avalon Emerson, hit-making party starter Jayda G and many more.
The venue is the picture perfect Virginia Key Beach Park, which dates back to 1896 and the formation of the state of Miami itself. It is a stunning place of rich natural culture and beauty with expansive wetlands, scenic beaches and sweeping views of the bay and the Atlantic. It will be respected by the festival which prides itself on taking care of the local environment. As such, The Keep Her Wild program, powered by Ascendance Sustainable Events, will return for this year’s event to raise attendee awareness, while all single-use plastic and styrofoam are banned at the festival. The countdown is now on to the much anticipated return of Rakastella, which offers a mix of music and culture like no other.
