Released 11 Years Ago: deadmau5 ft. Rob Swire – Ghosts N Stuff

Originally releases as an instrumental track, the vocal version of ‘Ghosts N Stuff’ by deadmau5 featuring Pendulum front-man Rob Swire took the single to new heights. Released on the 27th of September 2009, ‘Ghosts N Stuff’ surpassed the instrumental single almost immediately, gaining over 200 million streams and reaching the #2 spot in the UK dance charts.

Canadian electronic music producer and Mau5trap label head deadmau5 is one of the most prominent fixtures in the dance scene of the 2010’s, instantly recognizable with his signature oversized mouse helmet. Debuting in the late 2000’s, he made his first international statement with 2009’s ‘For Lack of a Better Name’. From there, he remained a Top Ten fixture on the US and Canadian Dance charts, going platinum in 2010 with ‘4×4=12’ and topping the charts three times in a row with ‘Album Title Goes Here’ (2012), ‘While (1<2)’ (2014), and ‘W:/2016ALBUM/’ (2016). Known for his live shows and highly produced stage set-ups, he is also an avid video gamer, contributing to soundtracks for Grand Theft Auto, Need for Speed, FIFA, and more.
