Tiësto and NAC Breda: The Collab We Didn’t See Coming

Tiësto Joins Forces with NAC Breda to Design a Sleek New Away Kit for the 2025/26 Season

Tiësto is no stranger to the world of football, having performed at major tournaments such as the UEFA European Championship. His latest collaboration brings that connection closer to home, as he teams up with NAC Breda to co-design the club’s 2025/26 away kit. Created alongside designer Myrthe Koppelaar, the all-black jersey features subtle tonal detailing, a matte Tiësto logo, and a smart chip linking fans to exclusive digital content.

Where Music Meets Football Design

For Tiësto, the collaboration with NAC Breda marks a proud return to his roots. Describing it as an honor to work with his hometown club, the Dutch DJ helped introduce the new 2025/26 away kit as part of a wider celebration of Breda’s football culture. The launch also ties into the upcoming 50-year anniversary of Avondje NAC, a tradition that captures the club’s unique night-match atmosphere and community spirit.

Together with designer Myrthe Koppelaar and creative contributor Hugo de Graaf, Tiësto shaped an all-black look defined by tone, texture, and precision. The jersey features a subtle NAC shield, a matte Tiësto logo, and smart chip technology linking fans to exclusive online content. It is a modern interpretation of the club’s identity that unites sport, design, and local pride.

Inside the 2025/26 NAC Breda Away Kit

The 2025/26 NAC Breda away kit stands out for its minimalist approach and attention to detail. The all-black design features tonal lettering and a subtle NAC shield pressed into the fabric, creating depth without losing the club’s classic identity. A small Tiësto logo appears in matte black on the chest, marking his creative involvement while keeping the look refined and understated.

To complete the launch, Nike paired the jersey with matching black shorts and socks, giving the full kit a seamless appearance. Each shirt also includes an integrated white chip that connects to a digital platform developed with Tiësto, offering fans exclusive online access tied to the release. It’s a mix of tradition and modern technology that reflects how football culture continues to evolve.

Football Has Always Been Part of Tiësto’s Story

Long before he became a global DJ, Tiësto was a kid from Breda who regularly attended NAC Breda matches, dreaming of one day stepping onto that pitch himself. As part of his new collaboration with the club, he’s revisiting that childhood connection in a new form. In the announcement, he called it an honor to contribute to a club rooted in where he was born and raised.

His experience with large-scale sports events adds weight to the project. In 2004, Tiësto performed during the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Athens, making him one of the first DJs to take the stage at such a global sports spectacle. The moment became tied to his legacy, and he later released Parade of the Athletes, a mix inspired by that performance.

This new NAC Breda jersey project bridges those two parts of his journey: the music stages of international events and the local stadium in his hometown.

Over the years, his music has continued to echo through major sporting arenas. His track “The Business” was featured at the FIFA World Cup 2022, played across stadiums during match build-ups. Earlier this year, he was also named the first in-game DJ for Super Bowl LVIII, further reinforcing his long-standing connection to global sports culture. This latest collaboration with NAC Breda feels like a return to where that connection first began.

A Homecoming in Every Sense

For Tiësto, the collaboration with NAC Breda is more than a design milestone. It represents a full-circle moment that ties his international success to the city where it all started. The 2025/26 away kit captures that connection through style, innovation, and shared pride in Breda’s football heritage.

The new NAC Breda x Tiësto jersey is available now through the club’s official website, marking the start of a new chapter that celebrates both local tradition and global creativity.

Album art or portrait of Robert Miles, the Italian DJ who created the iconic 90s Dream House anthem, 'Children'.

Thirty years ago today, an absolute classic dropped that changed electronic music forever: Robert Miles’ ‘Children’ 30th anniversary marks a moment of pure, unified emotion on the dance floor.

Robert Miles Children 30th Anniversary: The Melody That Defined a Decade

If you hear those opening piano notes, you instantly know the track. The melody is famously ethereal and haunting, cutting through the loud, aggressive techno of the time. ‘Children’ was the essential anthem of the mid-90s, offering a moment of dreamlike calm and reflection that everyone embraced. It proved that instrumental dance music could be both deeply moving and globally successful.

More Than Music: The Dream House Story and Robert Miles’ Mission

Robert Miles, born Roberto Concina, created this sound—later dubbed “Dream House”—with a deliberate mission. He was inspired by his father’s poignant wartime photos and wanted to craft a musical oasis—a calming experience amid the intense energy of the rave scene. He once explained that he wanted to find “a softer, more musical, emotional side” to dance music.

By blending tranquility with a steady rhythm, ‘Children’ became a symbol of unity and peace.

A Timeless Legacy and Global Success

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor Robert Miles. Though he sadly passed away in 2017, his music is truly timeless. ‘Children’ remains an iconic, enduring piece of art that continues to resonate, reminding us of the powerful connection that can be forged through a single, perfect melody.

It’s more than a track; it’s a shared memory for generations of music lovers.
