Neversea Kapital Add John Summit & More To Lineup

Neversea Kapital marks its debut in Bucharest, Romania’s vibrant capital, with a strong lineup this summer.
Neversea Kapital add John Summit and Paul Kalkbrenner to Bucharest’s biggest music festival, which runs from July 4 to 6 on the National Arena and spans three stages. Alok, Axwell, Don Diablo, Kaaze, KSHMR, Lost Frequencies, Nervo, Salvatore Ganacci, Sickick, Steve Aoki, Claptone, MËSTIZA and Tujamo will headline the mainstage.
The techno stage, called Temple, will host the world’s No. 1 techno DJ Charlotte de Witte, as well as Deborah De Luca, Korolova, Nina Kraviz, Mau P, Cezar, Priku b2b Arapu, Charlie, Sublee, Cap, and Kozo. The Ark stage will host local rap, trap, hip-hop, and pop music.
Chicago’s house superstar John Summit is redefining the global electronic music scene. Recognised by Rolling Stone as “The Hottest Name in Dance Music” and described by Variety as “One of EDM’s Biggest Rising Stars,” John Summit is considered the new must-have act. In 2025, John Summit’s tracks have surpassed 1.5 billion streams on Spotify, and he’s making global waves.
Paul Kalkbrenner, one of the most respected live electronic music performers, has redefined the techno sound. Born in Berlin, Kalkbrenner rose to fame in the 2000s with a distinctive style that defies convention. Instead of DJing, he performs his music live using both hardware and software, creating a unique experience at every show.
Neversea Kapital is the brand-new Romanian festival of the creators of UNTOLD (Europe and Dubai) and Neversea Festival. The first edition will be held in less than two weeks, from July 4 to 6, at Romania’s biggest stadium, the National Arena. Tickets are available here.
The organizers are also preparing for the 10th anniversary of the iconic UNTOLD Festival in Cluj-Napoca, from August 7-10, and the second edition of the biggest festival ever held in the United Arab Emirates, UNTOLD Dubai, from November 6-9.

Martin Garrix Confirms His Second Album Is Coming in 2026

Martin Garrix has officially confirmed that his second album is in progress and expected to arrive in early 2026.
Martin Garrix made the announcement during a live segment on Fun Radio, where he explained that the majority of the material is already finished. What remains is the last round of refinement, which he described as the most time-consuming part. His goal is to have everything wrapped up by November.
This will be his first full-length record since Sentio, which was released in 2022. That album brought together several collaborations and included songs he had already tested out during festival sets. Since then, Garrix has been focused on releasing one-off singles and smaller projects. His recent output, including the IDEM EP and songs like “Breakaway” and “Weightless,” has shown a shift in tone. Some of the newer material leans more experimental, while still keeping a strong connection to the sound that shaped his earlier career. Martin Garrix’s evolution in these projects is quite intriguing.
Tomorrowland Will Preview What Comes Next
Martin Garrix also shared that he has completed a brand-new club-oriented song that will be premiered during his Tomorrowland set this summer. He described the production as more aggressive than usual, suggesting that the upcoming album may explore a heavier direction than his previous body of work. Given his history of using major festivals as a platform to debut unreleased material, Tomorrowland is likely the first place fans will get a sense of how the album sounds, echoing Martin Garrix’s pioneering approach to live performances.

While no details were given about featured artists or the final lineup of songs, this new approach to performance and pacing hints that the album may not follow the structure of Sentio, which leaned heavily on vocal collaborations. Instead, it seems like Martin Garrix is exploring a format that reflects the kind of music he builds specifically for his live sets, demonstrating Martin Garrix’s intent to innovate.
A Different Kind of Album Rollout
Unlike his first album, which was promoted over several months with visuals and teasers tied to each single, this next phase feels more grounded in the moment. Rather than building an extended campaign around each individual release, Garrix appears focused on finishing the record as a whole and presenting it when it’s ready. The fact that he is premiering new material live rather than on streaming platforms shows that this process is being driven by instinct and audience feedback, not just marketing cycles, showcasing the practical and instinctive side of Martin Garrix.
With his timeline now set, fans can expect a gradual rollout beginning later this year. If the new club piece receives strong reactions at Tomorrowland, it may end up as one of the album’s lead singles. Either way, 2026 looks set to mark Martin Garrix’s return to full-length format, something his listeners have been anticipating since his last studio release, furthering Martin Garrix’s reputation for excellence.

Tech House Titan BRN Drops Groovy Single ‘Mini Skirt’

Tech House Brazilian artist BRN has been raining down banger after banger over the last few years accumulating over 13 million Spotify streams.
Tech House tracks like ‘Up N’ Down’, ‘Mommy’, and ‘Like That’ have earned him a great deal of acclaim which is likely to continue with his stunning new single ‘Mini Skirt.’
BRN has ventured into tech house, bass house, and deep house with his past releases, and ‘Mini Skirt’ is another masterful display of his knack for producing amazing house music. His understanding for how to show restraint to allow the core of the track to shine through is excellent and means the groovy bassline takes centre stage. This paired with the entrancing use of percussion and excellent dynamics add up to create a body moving, basement grooving banger.
The 13 million streams on Spotify only tell half the story as even more impressively BRN’s music has gained support from the likes of Fisher, John Summit, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, and many more. The Santa Catarina based DJ has performed at some of Brazil’s top venues as well as releasing music on legendary labels including Catch & Release, Terminal Underground, and No Bad Fridays.
BRN’s powerful momentum is only continuing to rise with him dropping continuous smash hits like ‘Mini Skirt’ that are launching his name into the big leagues. His productions are dynamically excellent, show restraint when they need to, and let loose in all the right places. Take a listen for yourself or miss out on tech house heaven.
