Carl Cox Brings Back His Record Label Intec Digital

Following a 5-year hiatus Carl Cox’s techno record label Intec Digital has reemerged with a brand-new EP from Carlo Lio and M.I.T.A. titled ‘Chasing Ghosts.’

Originally founded in 1998 by Carl Cox and DJ C1, the then titled Intec Records played host to releases from huge names including Richie Hawtin, Pete Tong, and Paul Oakenfold. Its greatest success came in 2002 with the release of Tomaz and Filterheadz’s techno marvel ‘Sunshine’ which sold 25000 copies. Intec Records ran up until 2006 and then made its return in January 2010 under the new name Intec Digital.

The label has been silent since 2020, but now it’s made its comeback with an explosive EP from Carlo Lio and M.I.T.A. which could be the start of a resurgence for Intec Digital. The ‘Chasing Ghosts’ EP features 3 tracks: ‘Chasing Ghosts’, ‘AFREAKA!’, and ‘The Artist’s Struggle.’ Each offers a unique sound while sticking to the infectious, funky, high energy you expect to see from a release on Intec Digital.

The return of the label is a welcome one which hopefully will continue its return with more groovy releases akin to this excellent opening EP.

Hi I'm Mackenzie and rather unsurprisingly, I love electronic music. After over 10 years of blasting my ears with everything from Martin Garrix to San Holo, I've found myself forever digging deeper into this world. If I were to name my top 5 favourite artists I'd say Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, The Prodigy, Hardwell, and Avicii make up that list. Alongside writing I'm also a producer who makes whatever comes to mind. Big room house, drum & bass, hardstyle, it's all fun to dig into. See you out in the fields people :)

[UNVRS] has a hugely stacked lineup for the coming Ibiza season which they’ve just added to with one of the biggest B2B sets in history from two legends of the game. Carl Cox, and David Guetta.

The announcement of this B2B came as part of Carl Cox’s storming residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza. He’ll be taking to the stage every Sunday from June 21st to October 4th 2026 bringing a variety of genres, guests, and his signature infectious energy. In the build up he’s teased fans saying, “expect the unexpected, always” and the reveal of him performing with David Guetta certainly comes as a surprise. Despite both being staples of the electronic music scene for several decades they’ve never shared the stage with each other. Making up for lost time on July 26th they’ll be going B2B for the whole night to create history and add to their spectacular legacy.

Get your tickets for Carl Cox at [UNVRS] here.

Both Cox and Guetta have their own residencies at [UNVRS] with David Guetta bringing back his ‘Galactic Circus’ residency. This will be running every Friday from June 11th to October 2nd 2026. Support artists for Guetta are yet to be announced but Carl Cox has revealed an outstanding set of artists who will be joining him over the summer. Along with David Guetta the likes of Chris Stussy, Richie Hawtin, Miss Monique, and Camelphat will all be making some noise at [UNVRS].

Tickets for the David Guetta back2back are available here.

The scale of the lineup for [UNVRS] over the summer cannot be understated with Carl Cox and David Guetta going B2B possibly being the crown jewel. Two legends with cataclysmic pedigree meeting on stage for the first time for a full night of music is a recipe for history making.

Crusy Remixes STBAN’s ‘Baila Conmigo’ On Flamenca Records

Rising spanish star Crusy steps in to deliver steamy dance floor edit of ‘Baila Conmigo’ by STBAN out via Flamenca Records.

Pulsating with sultry Latin heat and perfectly primed for summertime dance floors, rising Spanish star Crusy delivers a steamy edit of label boss STBAN’s original single ‘Baila Conmigo’, out August 1st on FLAMENCA Records via Toolroom.

The Madrid-based producer shows natural restraint with his edit, resisting any urge to go for obvious drops, instead building the tension slowly but surely. Allowing the original topline to drift in and out of the production, Crusy gradually adds an almost intimate level of energy, layering warm guitars, undulating keyboard chords and chugging percussion. The result is a track that begs the body to move, designed to bring music fans onto the dance floor to groove together. It’s a remix perfectly in step with STBAN’s vision to bring Flamenco and Latin House to the masses.

“I’ve fallen in love with Flamenco,” Crusy said, “its hypnotic Spanish voice and purely Spanish chords stir something deep in my soul. It’s not just music; it’s emotion in its rawest, most beautiful form. Being able to remix it and put my own touch there was a challenge but I am very proud of the reaction every time I play it in a day time event.”

Supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Dom Dolla, Nic Fanciulli, Louie Vega, James Hype, Fatboy Slim, Adam Beyer and John Summit, Crusy has more than made a name for himself in an extremely small space of time. Releasing standout tracks on Toolroom, including ‘Karma’, ‘El Baso’, ‘Attracted’ and ‘Unknown’, as well as singles on Defected, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Franky Wah’s Shen, Hugel’s Make The Girls Dance and Dombreski’s Process, he now joins the FLAMENCA Records family, adding the ‘Baila Conmigo’ remix as the latest chapter in his growing story.
