Fresh off the back of his debut appearance at Art Basel for PACE gallery, Digital pioneer Don Diablo has just sold his latest jaw-dropping NFT – HΞXHIBIT III – for 1.2 million USD through world-renowned auction house Sotheby’s to famous NFT collector 33NFT in collaboration with MOCO Museum. The futuristic-looking NFT has the biggest physical art piece attached to a token in the space so far and will be on view for the public at Museumplein this Thursday and Friday, 9-10th December 2021 before going into the Museum collection.

Creating a revolution in the crypto-art scene with his ground-breaking NFT creations, Don’s latest work HΞXHIBIT III comes with a mind-blowing physical piece. The NFT itself showcases the concept of a mysterious object which resembles a combination between a spaceship and portal. Renowned for his ability to bring physical elements to his digital work, Don has taken his craft to the next level, by creating the ambitious physical piece in real life. Once inside, Don will reveal an exclusive first look at the MetaVerse he has been building since the start of the pandemic.

Max Moore, Head of Contemporary Art Sales, Sotheby’s Hong Kong and Head of Digital Art Sales said: “Don Diablo is a pioneering artist in the digital medium, combining the physical and digital to push boundaries and ask us to redefine our conceptions of art. It’s a privilege for Sotheby’s to handle this sale before it’s international exhibition debut.”

Speaking about HΞXHIBIT III, Don elaborated “It’s now officially safe to say NFTs are here to stay. Digital art has been frowned upon for many years, but if there is one great thing this pandemic brought us it’s the birth of a digital (art) renaissance. Traditional collectors around the world are now starting to understand the value of this exciting new art form, which has a history of its own, this has now created a global wave of infinite possibilities and opportunities. At this point in time those who are joining the community are still seen as pioneers since the majority of the world is still struggling to understand what an NFT is. Why spend money on something that isn’t even tangible? The answer is simple: because it’s the future. In so many ways. HΞXHIBIT III is here to make a statement. It’s not only one of the biggest physical pieces attached to a token in the history of NFTs, it’s also a way to physically feel, hear and experience the power of digital art once the doors close behind you. Similar to my previous works the digital content part of this piece will keep developing itself, forming a connection between creator and collector for the years to come. That’s the beauty of digital art right? Considering today’s possibilities buying a piece should simply mark the beginning of an adventure.”

It has been quite the year for Don Diablo. Displaying a unique ability to tap into the future, the forward-thinking artist refuses to be pigeonholed by just one avenue of his illustrious career. This year alone he has been working on ambitious new projects alongside Star WarsDisney and the United Nations. His GΞNESIS piece marked his entry into the NFT space earlier this year and sold for a record-breaking debut entrance of 110Ξ on fine art auction site SuperRare. Shortly followed by another record-breaking sale: DΞSTINATION HΞXAGONIA which then became the biggest primary sale on SuperRare (600Ξ), instantly making him one of the highest averaging artists in the community. After that the Dutchman was a part of Sotheby’s ‘Natively Digital’ NFT legacy auction and collaborated on an immersive art piece with NFT legend Trevor Jones. Just last week, Diablo revealed his first piece for renowned gallery PACE in collaboration with DRIFT during Miami’s Art Basel, making headlines with the sale of their ‘Block Universe’ NFT.

MOCO Museum is known for having the first NFT museum exhibition in Europe.  MOCO continues collecting and curating art that will open minds and question the world around us.

Anyma Responds After Istanbul Show Cancellation

Anyma responds after Istanbul show cancellation over alleged satanic imagery as ÆDEN artist claims AI-manipulated visuals fueled controversy

Anyma has responded after his ÆDEN show in Istanbul, Turkey, was cancelled following accusations surrounding imagery used in his audiovisual performances. The decision came after a social media campaign called for the event to be stopped over alleged “satanic” elements, while Anyma has since rejected those interpretations and claimed that some of the material circulated online had been manipulated using AI.

Anyma’s Istanbul Show Cancelled Following Online Campaign

The ÆDEN show was scheduled for September 12 at Ataköy Marina Arena as part of Anyma’s 2026 ÆDEN Global Tour. Ahead of the event, clips and images taken from his previous performances circulated across Turkish social media, with some accounts claiming that elements of the visuals represented “satanic rituals” or symbols and calling for the Istanbul date to be cancelled.

The Istanbul Governor’s Office later withdrew permission for the show. No formal explanation was initially published by the authority, but Emin Gökçegözoğlu, Provincial Press and Public Relations Director for the Istanbul Governor’s Office, confirmed to Turkish fact-checking organisation Teyit that the cancellation was connected to alleged “satanic elements.”

Promoter Only You Live officially confirmed the cancellation on September 4, with refunds through Passo beginning on September 7. The decision brought the Istanbul stop to an end less than two weeks before Anyma was due to perform.

Anyma Responds To Claims And Alleges AI Manipulation

On September 6, Anyma, the project of Matteo Milleri, issued a lengthy response through Instagram Stories. He described ÆDEN as a science-fiction story dealing with darkness and light, destruction and creation, fear and hope, arguing that individual scenes from the production had been presented without the context of the full story.

He also rejected the religious meaning being attributed to the visuals, explaining that the production draws references from art history, mythology and ancient literature, but does not directly depict religious figures or intend to disrespect any religion or culture.

Anyma then addressed the material being circulated online, alleging that selected darker scenes had been taken from the show, manipulated using AI, combined with different music and shared in a way that created what he described as a false interpretation of the project. He also stressed that his original visuals were not AI-generated, saying the technology had instead been used by others to alter his work.

The artist also criticised the process leading to the cancellation, stating that neither he, his team nor Only You Live received a meaningful warning or an opportunity to explain the production before permission was withdrawn. Anyma confirmed that he intends to appeal the decision and remains open to speaking with local authorities, while expressing hope that ÆDEN can eventually be presented in Istanbul.

Eduard Shyfrin’s blues-rock outfit, Shyfrin Alliance, announce two brand-new remixes of single ‘Whiskey Blues’ by house pioneer Todd Terry.

The remixes reimagine the smoky, guitar-driven atmosphere of the original track through Todd Terry’s signature dancefloor energy, blending deep grooves, rhythmic house beats, and soulful textures into a fresh crossover release designed for both club audiences and longtime fans alike.

Originally celebrated for its gritty storytelling and blues-infused sound, ‘Whiskey Blues’ takes on an entirely new dimension in this collaboration, introducing the band to electronic music listeners worldwide.

“Whiskey Blues is not just a song, it’s a state of the soul. The remixes were chosen not to replace the original feeling, but to give the songs emotions a new pulse, allowing it to reach people in a new way.”

Todd Terry, whose pioneering work helped define global house music culture, delivers not one but two, remix’s that balance classic club sensibilities with modern production, creating a track equally suited for late-night dancefloors and summer playlists.

Beyond his musical pursuits, Eduard Shyfrin is internationally recognized for a multifaceted career spanning science, business, philosophy, and the arts. Trained as a physicist and later emerging as a successful entrepreneur and industrial leader, he has built a reputation for integrating rigorous intellectual inquiry with creative expression.

In parallel with his business achievements, Shyfrin has devoted significant attention to philosophical and spiritual studies, authoring works that explore the intersection of ancient wisdom traditions, modern science, and human consciousness. This synthesis of disciplines informs the artistic vision behind Shyfrin Alliance, where music becomes another medium for reflection, meaning, and emotional connection.

Stay tuned, as the Todd Terry mixes of ‘Whiskey Blues’ touch down.

New EDM Friday Sep 11 brings new music from David Guetta, Hypaton, Armin van Buuren, Pete Tong, Kaskade, Dillon Francis, and more.

New EDM Friday Sep 11 brings together new singles, crossover collaborations, remixes, and bass-heavy releases covering melodic techno, trance, house, bass music, dance pop, and electronic dance. From David Guetta and Hypaton with You and I, Me and You to Armin van Buuren and Pete Tong with Poppy Baskcomb on Toca’s Miracle, Kaskade with Satisfy You, Dillon Francis with Cry Myself to Sleep, the Monstercat vs. NCS 15 Year Showdown, and Tape B and Effin with I’ll Never Know, these are the tracks you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.

David Guetta & Hypaton – You and I, Me and You

David Guetta and Hypaton reunite on You and I, Me and You, a new single through Atlantic and Warner Records that had already been tested across David Guetta’s summer shows. The track pairs soaring vocals and euphoric drops with the refrain “Me and you, together whatever we do,” continuing the nostalgic dance direction behind their partnership. It follows their official version of La Bouche’s Be My Lover, which has passed 350 million streams, along with recent 2026 releases involving Bonnie Tyler and RAYE that have also reached tens of millions of streams. After a summer that included UNVRS, Ushuaïa Ibiza, the Monolith tour, Stade de France, and Coachella’s Quasar stage, You and I, Me and You opens New EDM Friday Sep 11 with one of the week’s biggest dance releases.

Armin van Buuren & Pete Tong ft. Poppy Baskcomb – Toca’s Miracle

Armin van Buuren and Pete Tong revisit Toca’s Miracle with Poppy Baskcomb, bringing the classic trance record into this week’s New EDM Friday. The release is listed as Toca’s Miracle (Extended) on Beatport, with Armin van Buuren, Pete Tong, and Poppy Baskcomb credited on the track. The original Toca’s Miracle became one of dance music’s most recognizable early 2000s records, making this version another update of a track that has stayed close to trance and club culture for more than two decades. For Armin van Buuren, the release follows another busy run of trance-focused records, while Pete Tong brings his long-standing connection to dance music history into the collaboration. With Poppy Baskcomb adding the vocal presence, Toca’s Miracle brings a classic name back into New EDM Friday Sep 11 through a new 2026 version.

Kaskade ft. Bobby Harvey & Sam Harper – Satisfy You

Kaskade continues the ORIGIN// rollout with Satisfy You, a new vocal-forward house collaboration with Bobby Harvey and Sam Harper. The track brings modern house and UKG influences into the album’s final pre-release single, with Bobby Harvey adding production and songwriting while Sam Harper carries the vocal. Satisfy You follows recent ORIGIN// singles including Meet Again with Natalie Jane and Layton Giordani, Comes Back Around with BUNT., A Little Bit with Crankdat, Runaway with GLOCKENBACH and Kaitlin Aragon, and Hear Me Now with Wooli and MAXINE. The release also follows Kaskade’s Coachella 2026 debut of the ORIGIN// live concept, where he introduced nine new songs alongside the next phase of his production. With ORIGIN// now nearing release, Satisfy You brings Kaskade back into New EDM Friday Sep 11 with the final single from the album rollout.

Dillon Francis – Cry Myself to Sleep

Dillon Francis brings a more emotional side into New EDM Friday Sep 11 with Cry Myself to Sleep, a new single through Monstercat and Broke Records. The track pairs a catchy vocal hook with euphoric production, turning heartbreak and late-night melancholy into something closer to his usual dancefloor world. It follows his recent run on Broke Records, including Make You Move, What It Feels Like with Daya, and RIDDEM with Allenora and America Foster. The release also comes ahead of a busy fall schedule, with upcoming stops including Gridlife Laguna Festival, Academy LA, Ember Shores, and DILLSTRADAMUS. With Cry Myself to Sleep, Dillon Francis brings one of this week’s more emotional dance releases into New EDM Friday Sep 11.

Tape B & Effin – I’ll Never Know

Tape B and Effin continue their creative run with I’ll Never Know, a new collaboration released ahead of Tape B’s debut album Ghost In The Static. The single brings together Tape B’s connection to classic dubstep and hip-hop influence with Effin’s use of detailed sampling, emotional songwriting, and nostalgic textures. It follows their 2025 collaboration Ups and Downs from Effin’s Daydreams album, as well as their unofficial remix of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black, which has passed 651K streams on SoundCloud. Tape B described I’ll Never Know as their third collaboration since early 2025 and said the track has been a highlight of his recent tour sets. With Ghost In The Static set for October 2, I’ll Never Know brings Tape B and Effin’s shared bass, hip-hop, and nostalgia-driven sound into New EDM Friday Sep 11.
