Solomun Launches Love Recycled Label With New Release
Solomun unveils Love Recycled record label with reimagined classics.
Solomun is breathing new life into his early 2010s remix concept by launching a full record label called Love Recycled, set to debut with a new release on June 27.

The label borrows its name and purpose from the DJ’s original Love Recycled series, which began in 2011. Back then, Solomun quietly released a string of unofficial edits that reshaped old favorites into slow-burning house tracks. One of the most well-known was his version of Michael McDonald’s “I Keep Forgettin’,” which gained attention for its restraint and groove without needing heavy production.
Now, over a decade later, the idea has grown into something more permanent. The new label will officially launch with Love Recycled 4, a rework of Change’s 1980 disco track “Angel In My Pocket.” The edit keeps the heart of the original while introducing Solomun’s signature pacing and atmosphere, making it fit naturally into today’s sets.
According to a statement from the label, Love Recycled is no longer just a personal project. It will open its doors to a select group of artists who share the same respect for classic tracks. The aim is to create thoughtful, dancefloor-friendly edits that honor the originals while offering something new.
This move builds on Solomun’s long-standing influence as both a producer and curator. Known for his ability to blend the emotional with the rhythmic, his work often speaks to both older fans and new listeners alike. Love Recycled gives that approach a formal home, one that invites others to participate.
The label’s first release will be available on all platforms this Friday. Pre-saves are now open through Solomun’s social media and streaming links.
