FinalFinal Launches Platform For Modern Music Collaboration
FinalFinal launches a new music collaboration platform that brings communication, file sharing, feedback and project management into one workspace
Music collaboration today often stretches across messages, email threads, cloud folders and multiple versions of the same file. FinalFinal brings those parts of the process into one place, giving producers, artists and creative teams a workspace for communication, file sharing, feedback and project management. Its web platform is available now, with a mobile app set to follow in early November.
FinalFinal Brings Music Projects Into One Place
At the centre of FinalFinal is a chat-based interface that keeps conversations connected to files, versions and feedback. Collaborators can communicate, share music and follow changes without switching between messaging apps, cloud folders and email threads.
Project management tools allow teams to track sessions, assign responsibilities, monitor progress and manage deliverables throughout the creative process. Real-time version control records changes and different takes, while time-stamped sessions document how a project develops. Encrypted cloud storage and permission controls also let teams decide who can access, edit or distribute their files.
FinalFinal Focuses On Problems Creators Already Face
Founder and CEO Angel “AROCK” Castillo said the idea came from the fragmented way artists and producers often work. One song can involve several file-sharing platforms, message threads and emails before collaborators reach the finished version.
“Creative teams and artists have long had to piece together file-sharing platforms, messages, and email threads just to finish one song,” said Angel “AROCK” Castillo.
Problems such as lost files, overwritten versions and feedback spread across different conversations can quickly complicate a project. FinalFinal keeps that information within the same workspace, giving collaborators a clearer record of changes, feedback and what still needs to be completed.
FinalFinal Mobile App Launches In November
With the web platform already available, FinalFinal will extend its collaboration tools to mobile in early November. The app will connect with the web experience, allowing teams to continue conversations, manage files and follow projects across desktop and mobile.
Creators can also sign up for a complimentary account and access the web platform now. The mobile release will give artists, producers and creative teams another way to stay connected to their projects when working across different devices.
